These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Cab Services Direct Ltd website and apply to all bookings, enquiries and services provided by Cab Services Direct Ltd. By accessing our website, contacting us or booking any servicing work, you agree to be bound by these terms. Cab Services Direct Ltd operates as Birmingham’s specialist centre for servicing electric black cabs, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, mechanical repairs and manufacturer-approved work for LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) vehicles. We are committed to delivering reliable, transparent and professional services for taxi drivers, fleet operators and private owners.

Bookings, Estimates and Service Work

When you contact us to book your cab for servicing or inspection, we will arrange an appointment subject to availability. Any estimates provided, whether verbally or in writing, are based on an initial assessment and may change should additional issues arise during inspection or diagnostic testing. You will be informed of any such findings before further work is carried out.

Servicing and repair work is performed by certified technicians trained in LEVC technologies, using appropriate parts, approved procedures and industry-standard methods. Although we take every measure to complete work to the highest standard, no servicing process can guarantee that further issues will not arise at a later date, especially with high-mileage commercial vehicles.

By booking a service, you confirm that you are authorised to present the vehicle, approve repairs and accept any associated charges.

Pricing and Payment

Prices for servicing, inspections and repairs will be communicated clearly before work is undertaken. All prices are provided exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless an alternative arrangement has been approved in advance.

Invoices must be settled using the payment methods we make available. In the event of non-payment, Cab Services Direct Ltd reserves the right to withhold the release of the vehicle until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Repeated missed appointments, late cancellations or failure to provide notice may result in refusal of future bookings or the application of administrative charges where appropriate.

Vehicle Condition, Safety and Warranty

You must inform us of any known faults, unusual symptoms, warning lights or safety concerns prior to or during the booking. Diagnosing issues relies in part on accurate information, and withholding relevant details may limit the effectiveness of our work.

Where work relates to LEVC warranty or manufacturer-linked repairs, additional requirements may apply. We will advise you of these at the time of booking. Warranty approval is determined by LEVC or the relevant manufacturer, not by Cab Services Direct Ltd, and we cannot guarantee acceptance of any warranty claim.

Liability

Cab Services Direct Ltd takes every possible measure to protect your vehicle while it is in our care. However, we cannot accept liability for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, underlying issues, or subsequent failures arising from normal wear and tear or conditions beyond our control.

We are not liable for loss of income, downtime, or any financial loss caused by your vehicle being unavailable for work, including during diagnosis or repair. Drivers are advised to plan accordingly when leaving their cab with us, particularly during complex or extended diagnostic work.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other matter that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy when it arrives at our premises, unless the reason for your visit relates specifically to a roadworthiness concern. You must remove personal belongings from the cab before leaving it with us. We cannot accept responsibility for items left inside the vehicle.

You also agree to provide accurate and up-to-date contact details so that we can communicate with you promptly.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos and branding, is owned by Cab Services Direct Ltd or used with permission. No part of the website may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.
